Abstract:

Physcion is extracted from The Root of Rheum Palmatum L. contains anthracene derivatives, stilbene derivatives, tannin compounds, organic acid compounds and volatile oils etc. The main bioactive components in in the Radix et Rhizoma Rhei Extract is anthracene derivatives, which includes aloe emodin, chrysaron, chrysophanol, emodin, isoernodin, laccaic acid, physcion, rhein, rheidin, palmidin, sennosides.

Function & Application

Physcion – A high activity fungicide of botanical resource. The Physcion has a very strong inhibition on about 26kinds of the bacteria, such as staphylococcus aureus，Escherichia Coli，Pseudomonas aeruginosa，streptococcus and shigella dysenteriae etc.
